Thesis, Department of English Language Education, FBBP, Unipdu. Supervisor: (I) Nailul Fauziyah, S. Hum, M.Pd. (II) Dr. Achmad Fanani, M. Pd Vocabulary plays a crucial role in language proficiency, yet many high school students struggle to understand word meanings, particularly in synonyms and antonyms in context. This classroom action research aimed to improve the mastery synonyms and antonyms of adjectives in Narrative text through the implementation of the Frayer Model strategy. This research was conducted at MA Babussalam Mojoagung during the academic year 2023/2024, involving 25 students and was carried out in two Cycles. The Data were collected through interviews, tests, observations, and questionnaires. The findings revealed that students’ vocabulary mastery with the average score increasing from 20% on the first Cycle to 85% on the second Cycle. Students’ involvement also revealed notable growth. The results suggest that the Frayer Model is an effective and practical strategy for improving vocabulary understanding, particularly in narrative texts.
