Abstract

Most women in their lives undergo so called as a series of physiological processes starting from pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. However, it is not impossible that these processes will become pathological and threaten the safety of the mother and baby. Therefore, preventive measures are needed so that the physiological process does not become pathological. The method used is continuous midwifery care (Continuity of Care) starting from the third trimester of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, neonates, and Family Planning (KB) in accordance with midwifery care standards. A case study was conducted at TPMB Yuni Widaryanti, S.Tr.Keb., Bd. on Mrs. "N" a total of 11 time visits. The results of midwifery care provided to Mrs. "N" are as follows: pregnancy trimester III was normal with 3 antenatal visits, there was a labor process at TPMB that occurred when 1 latent phase was prolonged with premature rupture of membranes for 15 hours, so a referral was made to the regional hospital where the referral for delivery was carried out normally at the regional hospital,postpartum progressed normally until week 6, on the 6 day of the postpartum visit an oxytocin massage is carried out to facilitate the release of breast milk, neonatal care until the age of ≤28 days was normal, and the mother decided to use a 1-month injectable contraceptive. After carrying out care (Continuity of Care), it can be concluded that midwifery care from the third trimester of pregnancy to postpartum and family planning was normal and in accordance with theory, although there were some gaps.
