Abstract
Quizizz is an online application that has many features and advantages. However, this application is also quite challenging and is used by first-time users, especially for compiling multiple choice and fill-in-the-blank questions. This study intends to determine what types of difficulties are faced by first-time users to formulate questions and explain why these difficulties occur. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study were the eighth-semester students of Unipdu. Based on the analysis, four types of difficulties were found in preparing multiple choice questions and three types of problems in compiling fill-in-theblank questions. The test occurs because users do not understand how to operate the application, especially compiling questions. Finally, it can be concluded that many first-time users still have difficulty using Quizizz. Keywords : Quizizz, Compiling English Questions, Difficulties
