Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the moral values in maleficent movie and to explain how the moral value is presented in Maleficent movie. The data analysed use theory of Hurlock. It was qualitative descriptive method. The data is the conversation or utterances which contains of moral value showed by the characters in this movie. Meanwhile, source of the data is a movie entitled Maleficent. The result of this research shows that there are three types of moral value in Maleficent movie. From three types it found 92 data units by division individual moral value 67 (72, 82%) data units, Social moral 22 (23, 91%) data units, Religion moral 3 (3, 09%) data units.
