This research was designed to knowthe effectiveness of word wall technique on students‟ vocabulary mastery. For the students, vocabulary was one of difficult things that must be mastered by the students, in this research the problem of the students had low interested to remember English vocabulary because they lacked vocabulary espesially in part of speech, they difficult to practice English well. This research was conducted at SMP AL HIKMAH BALONGREJO, the resercher take both of two classes 7a and 7b class as the sample. Involved 30 students, 15 students from 7a as a experimental class, and 15 students from 7b as control class. The researcher used quantitative method in quasi experimental research design. In this research, the researcher did three meetings in every classes. To analize the data, it used SPSS to measure the significance score of the students. The result showed that the students‟ mean score in pre-test was 52.6 while post-test mean score was 79.3. From the result statical analisis by using independent sample test, it is obtained that the sig. (2-tailed) .000 lower than 0.05. so, Null hypothesis Ho is rejected and alternative hypothesis H1 is accepted ; there is a significant effect of using word wall technique on students’ vocabulary mastery. It means that Word Wall technique is effective on students‟ vocabulary mastery at 7 grade Junior High School in teaching English vocabulary especially in part of speech.
