This research aimed to identify students‟ misbehaviors and describe how the teacher‟s strategies in facing students‟ misbehaviors that appears in Freedom Writers movie. Education is the place for human moral training. Thus, teachers need to focus not only on students‟ intelligence but also on students‟ morality. Through Freedom Writers movie which is based on true story, the researcheridentified students‟ misbehaviors and analyzed the teacher‟s teaching strategies in facing students‟ misbehaviors. The design of this research applied qualitative research to describe the phenomenon in the movie as the object of the research. The way to collect data was an observation through watching the movie. Then an observation sheet was used to gather the data. Inattention, apathy, disruption, moving about the room, aggression and fighting, annoying others, malicious mischief, and defiance authority were kinds of misbehaviors that could be found in Freedom Writers movie. Each of students‟ misbehaviors needs different treatments. Hence, by analyzing the teacher‟s teaching strategies, those kinds of misbehaviors could be solved. Such as inattention and apathy solved by using medium of learning, moving about the room was solved by changing the students‟ sitting arrangement, and malicious mischief was solved by asking the students‟ to repair the school property. The other strategies to overcome students‟ misbehaviors were discussion, giving reading book, conducting a game, inviting to the museum of tolerance, giving a journal book, and learning from source people.
