y Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease that is prevalent in society, this occurs due to lifestyle changes, high-calorie food consumption habits, inactivity, smoking, obesity, and urbanization and associated with sleep disturbance. Intervension to do is soak water warm on the foot with a temperature of 37- 40 ° C to reduce pain in the foot so the sleep quality of Diabetes mellitus can be increased and well. Purpose this study was to determine the effect of warm water soak at the foot of the sleep quality patients of diabetes mellitus. This study uses quasy-Experimental design with pretest-posttest control Desaign group, with a total population 56 and total sample 20 respondents (10 control groups and 10 treatment group) using simple random Sampling technique. Collection data is done by observation and assessment method using a quisioner measuring instrument, then tabulated by using frequency distribution and using the Wilcoxon test with a significance level α = 0,05. The result data analysis by using Wilcoxon test shows that the significance level α = 0,05, obtained in early treatment group ƿ = 0,004 (< 0,05), in early control group ƿ = 0,66. Besides for the Mann-Whitney U test,is obtained ƿ =0,000 (< 0,05) indicating that is a difference between control and treatment group. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is there is a significant on the warm water soak foot on the quality of sleep of people with Diabetes Mellitus.dari these results soak warm water foot can be used to treat sleep quality disturbances caused pain in the foot of patients with Diabetes Mellitus.
